After earning his degree from UNLV in 2009, Mr. Chan taught at Bonanza High School in Las Vegas. During his four years at Bonanza, Mr. Chan had taught AP Physics B, Physics Honors, Conceptual Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Science. He helped reinstate the school's Key Club as well as supporting the Senior Class Council as advisor for two years.
In 2014, he moved to Southern California working for a wireless engineering company as a field technician then a sales representative for a computer technology company. Missing the classroom, Mr. Chan earned his California Credentials and was hired in 2017 at Brea Olinda High School and currently teaches Physics and AP Physics.
Currently, Mr. Chan is enjoying the mild weather of Southern California with his wife and two tiny humans. They enjoy visiting Disneyland, the beaches, parks, and great food places. Mr. Chan is currently attending ASU Online to earn a Master's in Legal Studies.
